Mission.
Women in Exploration's mission is to promote the positive impacts that women have made in scientific exploration, field research, cultural learning, sustainability, and animal welfare.
Founded.
In March of 2020, Amanda Fornal launched Women in Exploration. Amanda is an advocate for equality, supporter of animal rights, a tech professional, an explorer, and a Fellow of The Explorers Club. She created the site to be a catalyst for conversations as well as to promote the countless efforts of women and girls to make our world a better place. She hopes that highlighting these achievements will inspire more positive advancements and learning.
